Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association Participates in Cruise Shipping Miami
Pembroke Pines, FL (March 18, 2009) – The Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA), is proud to participate at (Seatrade’s) Cruise Shipping Miami, the global forum for all segments of the cruise industry. The FCCA’s participation at the Convention has become the meeting place for hundreds of cruise line executives and destination partners whose participation has been strong.
The week is proving successful with top level executives attending round table discussions and a series of meetings at the FCCA booth, located in the heart of the Caribbean and Latin American section of the trade show.
The FCCA’s premier event during the week of Cruise Shipping Miami is the 15th Annual Gala Dinner & Entertainment Extravaganza. Sponsored by the Port of Miami, the Gala will be held at beautiful Fontainebleau, Miami Beach with more than 60 of the cruise industry’s top executives as your table hosts for the evening. The Gala offers the opportunity for developing strong cooperative relationships between the cruise industry and our destination partners.
The evening will begin with a jazzy Cocktail Reception featuring a local musician from St. Lucia and a variety of tasty appetizers and hors d’oeuvres. Original artwork will be auctioned during the Silent Auction sponsored by West End Galleries, Inc.
100% of the proceeds from the Gala will benefit the FCCA Foundation. The Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization created in 1993 to fund humanitarian causes in the Caribbean and Latin America. Numerous worthy projects receive funding each year through the FCCA Foundation, most recently the FCCA Holiday Gift Project brought smiles to the faces of over 8,000 under-privileged children throughout the Caribbean and Latin American Region. |
